Matt, a Colorado Native grew up roaming the mountain tops of Western Colorado where his Dad taught him to hunt, fish and respect the outdoors.

He started his adventures as a young boy and Matts’ insatiable passion for archery hunting and addiction to the game of pursuing Mule Deer and Elk fuels the fire behind his journeys. Scouting and year around hunting give Matt many days in the field pursuing his passion. From early season Turkey hunting, Pronghorn Antelope hunts, fall archery and rifle Elk hunting, chasing monster Mule Deer in December, to hunting waterfowl and predators in the winter months. He has no regrets not being the one to pull the trigger or release an arrow but rather, he considers himself incredibly fortunate to spend time in the outdoors with his family and friends.

Matt continues to build on his passion by working as Pro Staff and R&D for several companies in the industry such as First Lite and Element Arrows, he believes these companies have innovative products to change the way we hunt, and enjoy the outdoors while maintaining conservation.

The challenge of dovetailing the business world and the variables of Mother Nature give Matt the privilege of enjoying an entire season of sunrises and sunsets, which, for him, is his serenity.
